These are so easy to make and they really are so good. This is the recipe how it was written out, but below I will share with you, how I changed it up.

🥜-I no longer eat peanuts or peanut butter. They are horrible for digestion, meaning they are almost impossible to digest. And they bind to cells in the human body, leading to inflammation.

Instead, I used Sun Butter. But you could also use almond butter, cashew butter, hemp butter, and even pecan butter. 🍯-I do still eat honey but I didn’t have any raw and organic honey on hand. So I went with pure maple syrup. 🍴- The recipe made exactly 16 squares. Make sure and use the correct size pan. I spray the pan with non stick cooking spray, then lay a piece of parchment paper down and then spray again the non stick cooking spray.

💚-one more thing and it is nothing to be alarmed about! If you use Sun Butter, be prepared for some colorful squares. They will turn green 🍀. It is because the chlorogenic acid (chlorophyll) in sunflower seeds reacts with the baking side when baked, which causes the green color. It is COMPLETELY harmless and in my opinion, pretty freaking cool.
